Terms of Use.
What you may expect from this website and its courses — and what we ask of you in return.
Last updated: 5 September 2026
These terms are written to be read, not to be endured. They set out how this website may be used, who owns what appears on it, and the limits of what we promise.
1. Agreement
By visiting emma.fashion (“the Site”), subscribing to the newsletter, enrolling in a course, or enquiring about a service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.
2. Who we are
The Site is operated by Emma.Fashion — The School of Presence, the personal image consultancy of Emanuela Neculai (“we”, “us”, “our”).

3. What the Site is
The Site presents our consultancy services, our book, our online courses, and a journal of writing on style, image, and presence. It is published for general information. It is not personal advice, and reading it does not create a consulting relationship between us — that begins only when a service is agreed in writing.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, articles, photographs, illustrations, video, course material, workbooks, the name Emma.Fashion, The School of Presence, and our marks and logo — is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may read, print, and share our articles for your own personal, non-commercial use, and you may quote briefly with clear attribution and a link back to the original page. You may not republish, resell, adapt, translate, or use our work to train an automated system, and you may not use our name or marks without written permission.
5. Using the Site properly
Please do not: interfere with the Site or attempt to gain access to any part of it that is not public; collect data from it by automated means; upload anything harmful; use our forms to send spam or unlawful material; or impersonate another person.
6. Online courses
Our courses are hosted, sold, and delivered on the Teachable platform at training.emma.fashion. When you enrol, you also enter into Teachable’s own terms and privacy policy for your account and your payment.
- Your licence. Enrolment gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view the course material and to use the workbooks for your own development.
- What it does not include. You may not download and redistribute the videos, share your login, copy the workbooks for others, teach from the material, or resell any part of it.
- Access. Access begins on purchase and continues for the period stated on the course page. We may improve or update a course; we will not remove a course you have paid for without giving you reasonable notice and the chance to download your materials.
- Price. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change; the price you paid at checkout is the price of your enrolment.
7. Refunds
Courses are digital products delivered immediately, and the refund terms that apply to your purchase are those shown at checkout at the time you enrol. If a course is not what you expected, write to office@emma.fashion within the refund window stated there and we will deal with you fairly. Refunds are not given where the course has been substantially completed or its materials downloaded.
8. Consultancy, styling, and speaking
Personal styling, wardrobe and shopping consultancy, event and photo-shoot styling, corporate training, and speaking engagements are arranged individually. Each is governed by the proposal, booking confirmation, or agreement we send you, which sets out scope, fees, deposits, scheduling, and cancellation. Where that agreement differs from these terms, it takes precedence for that engagement.
9. The newsletter
The newsletter is sent only to those who ask for it, and every issue carries an unsubscribe link. We do not sell or share our list.
10. What we do not promise
Our work is educational and advisory. Style, confidence, and professional outcomes depend on many things beyond a course or a consultation, and any results described by us or by our clients are illustrative rather than guaranteed. Nothing on the Site is medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
The Site is provided “as is”. We take care that it is accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of anything harmful, and we may change or withdraw any part of it.
11. Other websites
The Site links to booksellers, our course platform, social media, and other places we think are worth your attention. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their practices.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity, or data, arising from your use of the Site or its content. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
13. Indemnity
If your misuse of the Site or breach of these terms causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages that result.
14. Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction — save that, if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
16. Changes
We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published here, with its date at the top, and it applies from the moment it is posted.
17. Contact
Questions about these terms are welcome at office@emma.fashion — or through the contact page.
